This show is perhaps one of the most energetic of the free things to do in Las Vegas. Taking up a large portion of Fremont Street and using some of the largest screens in the world, this show is good fun and entertainment for individuals of all ages.

Each of the hourly shows are different. There were three basic shows that we caught, two of which we have captured here in some detail. One of them was a special presentation in honor of the National Finals Rodeo which was in town for the week of December 4. It featured a western theme and favorite country music tunes.

The Lightshow - The true Fremont Street Experience

The lightshow takes place on the Viva Vision screen, which is one of the largest screens in the world. With 12 million lights, and hundreds of thousands of wattage blasted into the sound system, the show is a breath taking, heart pounding affair that you will remember for years to come.

Fremont Street is rich in history. It held many Las Vegas “firsts,” including first hotel (the Hotel Nevada in 1906, present day Golden Gate), first telephone (1907),[1] first paved street (1925), first Nevada gaming license — issued to the Northern Club at 15 E. Fremont St, first traffic light, and first elevator (the Apache Hotel in 1932).

World’s Biggest Street Party Five city blocks of strolling street performers, live music and unlimited food and drink. Street performers include: Hip Attitude Girls, Exotic Zebra Mimes, Stunning Showgirls, a Sizzlin’ Fire Eater, a Stiltwalker and the all-new Fremont Street Experience Mobile Entertainment Stages featuring Carl “Safe Sax” Ferris, Flamenco Guitarist Michael Olsen, the Crawdaddy-O Brass Band and Charismatic Violinist Barry Van Wie.

Fremont Street Casinos

Fremont Street is home to the unique stretch of downtown Las Vegas casinos known as the Fremont Street Experience. We have constructed a space frame large enough to house information on the fremont street casinos, extravagant Fremont Street Experience images, and directories to help you find the most useful information on these downtown casinos.

Fremont East District

In late August 2007, the city of Las Vegas completed a $5.5 million streetscape effort for downtown’s new entertainment district, Fremont East. These streetscape improvements were made possible through a public-private partnership by the city of Las Vegas and Fremont East property owners.
