Gold Coast Hotel and Casino

June 19, 2008 · Filed Under Hotels in Las Vegas  Bookmark and Share

Overview: The Gold Coast draws both the local scene as well as traveling gamblers who would rather spend less on their room and more on the tables. The Sports Book is always popular and I’d like to think that’s because of the $.75 hot dogs. The poker room opened in early 2005 and is a quiet place to play, with flat screen TVs surrounding most of the tables. It is located on Flamingo Road just off the Strip and next to the Rio.

The Gold Coast is known for its quality, service and fun. The 70-lane bowling alley, slot club, and full service casino provide guests with hours of fun within easy reach of your room at the Gold Coast Hotel.

Free parking in one of the huge lots or the two parking garages make the Gold Coast worth the one mile trip east from the Vegas Strip. The Gold Coast hotel has two sister properties: the Barbary Coast and Orleans, and there are free shuttles to both of these top spots.

Bowling is big in Las Vegas, and the Gold Coast’s 24-hour, state-of-the-art bowling center is one of the country’s largest, with 70 side-by-side lanes. On the second floor is an arcade featuring the latest and greatest video and interactive games.
